Autos
Finally got a couple of “photo cards” signed by Mitch Haniger and Danny Valencia. I had been carrying them around since Fan Fest in January. Haniger was serious and Valencia was funny. Got an auto from Edwin Diaz, and also finally got to give him a custom card. I made it after his first save last year (a copy that he signed last year is pictured above).
King Felix!!!!!!!!!!!!! With Felix, you never quite know who he’s going to sign for, or when. I’m glad he signed this card for me today!!! This is the first card in my collection with his signature. He borders on meticulous when he signs an item, and that’s pretty nice to see as not all players are that conscientious.
Ryon Healy and Marcus Semien signed on cards. Marcus is always gracious with the signatures, and is a favorite of mine because he went to Cal. Go Bears!!!!!!!
The Game
Well, it was a close game. In fact it was tied going into the top of the 9th. My man Edwin Diaz came in to keep it tied, but instead the A’s scored the winning run. Even though the final score was a bummer, it was still a cool night at the ballpark. Did I mention that I got an auto from Felix????? 🙂
